Dear friends and supporters of Equal Chance,
last year the holiday initiative ‘Yikes, no bikes!’ was a success and your generosity helped us buy 50 bikes for the children in Cambodia.

As you can see, the children are incredibly happy with their bikes and they don’t have to walk for miles and can now go faster to the school.

We decided to up our game and give 70 bikes this year!

As usual though, we need your precious help to make this happen. With only 30 Euro you can sponsor one bike to make one (or a couple, since they share!) child happy!

Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts!

If you want to print out a ‘thank you’ postcard, you can download it here.

Hi avid runners!

EqualChance.net is a charity foundation supporting 300 Cambodian children in school since 2016. We operate based on donations only and completely on a voluntary basis.

How does it work?

By participating in Dam tot Dam run you agree to a donation of at least 80 EUR if you are registering for the 5 EM (8KM) run or a donation of at least 95 EUR if you are registering for the 10 EM (16KM) run.
This donation will cover our ticket costs, t-shirts and half a year for a child in school!

How do I fundraise?

You can sponsor your donation by yourself or participate in a fun fundraiser with your friends and family, empowering them to donate for the children as well, and competing with other runners! Would you be the one to break last year’s individual fundraising record of 675 EUR that paid for a whole class of 13 kids? 🙂

There are different methods – you can pay us directly to our bank account (Stichting Equal Chance, NL35 INGB 0007 8781 18) or fundraise from your social circle, this will usually result in more donation hence more children in school.

Facebook donations work great or, alternatively, you can start a fundraiser on PifWorld.com and add your own running page, then share it with your family and friends.

You can also share the bank account number NL35 INGB 0007 8781 18 with your family and friends, just make sure they mention your name the description of the transfer.

How do I register?

If you’re all in, please leave your details in this Equal Chance registration form and acknowledge the Donation and Cancellation Policy on the second page of the form.
Then, depending on your selected run, register to be part of the Equal Chance team on the Dam Tot Dam website.

8km evening run – 21 September (team Equal Chance 16)   password: run4kids2019

16km day run – 22 September (team Equal Chance 15)   password: run4kids2019

*We will provide you with Equal Chance T-shirt and a ticket, if you want you can purchase additional Dam2Dam products during registration.

When and where is the run?

The 16km day run starts in Amsterdam between 9:00 and 16:00 on Sunday 22 September and ends in Zaandam. Here’s a map with the route.

8km evening run starts in Zaandam between 17:00 and 20:00 on Saturday 21 September and ends in Zaandam. Here’s a map with the route.

We will know the exact time a few weeks before the run. For both runs we will meet an hour before our start time to take a group photo and distribute t-shirts and bibs.

I already have a running ticket, can I participate in the fundraiser?

YES! It is possible to run with another ticket and fundraise for Equal Chance. There is no minimum amount you are expected to raise then and we will support you as much as we can towards your goal. Facebook donations work great or, alternatively, you can start a fundraiser on PifWorld.com and add your own running page, then share it with your family and friends 🙂

Happy running and thank you for being awesome!
the Equal Chance team

On October 26th, our friend and certified health coach Ashley Poelhuis (www.ashleypoelhuis.com) was holding a special Bootcamp with the Fit Fam Amsterdam for a good cause: All proceeds from that session were donated to Equal Chance. The amount raised with her help is sufficient to send 2 kids to school for one full year! 🙂

Thank you so very much for your help and efforts, Ashley!!
